Coln St Aldwyns has had a fete or “fun day” for more than three decades now. Over that time it has been held in many different gardens, has involved scores of different people and has taken place in all kinds of weather. Yet, throughout its life, one thing has remained constant – its dual purpose of bringing together people from nearby villages whilst raising money for local children’s groups.
The day itself is all about having fun, although the CHEQS produce show can become quite competitive!
At the heart of the event is Children – Children and families having a fun day out and at the same time raising much needed funds for local Children’s good causes.
Over £100,000 has been donated to Children’s good causes, with your support we will be able to continue this tradition for many years to come.
