Our Sponsors

Thank you to our friends!

Many kind people and many local businesses, big and small, come together – giving of their time, donating prizes, and providing cash – to make the famous Coln St Aldwyns Children’s Fete & Produce Show what it is, the only fete in Gloucestershire dedicated entirely to raising funds for local children’s charities and activities.

We’d like to thank you all but particularly our 2018 sponsors who very kindly made generous donations.

 Cotswold Airport

For the second year running Cotswold Airport, Kemble, is our overall fete sponsor. The airport is open to the public seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.  It boasts a fabulous family-friendly on-site restaurant called AV8 that serves great locally sourced food and is situated right by the main live runway where visitors can enjoy watching aircraft of all types taking-off and landing.  The airport also regularly plays host to public events – visit their website for full details www.cotswoldairport.com.  On site there is also Europe’s only Boeing 747 events’ plane that can be hired out for parties and corporate product launches.

AJ Arborists

Owned and managed by Coln resident, Alasdair Jeffrey, AJ Arborists provides tree work, hedge work, stump grinding, site clearance and arboricultural consultancy. It’s a small but growing business that prides itself on providing a friendly and professional service. It is one of the few Arboricultural Approved Contractors in the Cotswolds, thereby guaranteeing the very highest standards of tree care. Whether you have a small tree in your garden or have multiple large sites to manage, they have the tools and expertise to undertake any project. www.ajarborists.co.uk.

Barbary Shooting School

Situated on the Marlborough Downs just minutes from junction 15 of the M4, this Coln family-owned business is open seven days a week for practice sessions, tuition, parties and corporate events. As well as clay shooting they also offer other activities including archery, air rifle shooting, and simulated game days. www.barburyshootingschool.com.

Coln Community Stores

As a community store they offer you a wide range of products; all your essential groceries plus fresh meat and vegetables.  Fresh bread is baked daily on the premises, and there are also all the last minute things you need – wines & spirits, tobacco and chocolates.  The Cafe at Coln offers freshly brewed teas and coffees plus a wide selection of soft and alcoholic beverages, plus a range of sandwiches, salads and hot snacks made to your requirements.  In the warm weather use the beautiful gardens to enjoy your visit.

SE Controls

A global business that provides specialised ventilation products and services, SE Controls has strong family connections with the village and has long been a supporter of our fete. www.secontrols.com.

They offer very competitive pricing coupled with friendly excellent service – and they offer a top-up service whereby they take responsibility for keeping your tank full throughout the year. They’re also one of the leading suppliers and installers of plastic, maintenance-free oil tanks in our area. Once again they’re sponsoring our fete. www.sweet-fuels.co.uk.
